Jeff Smith is a veteran television director and producer, with a wide range of expertise in broadcast operations and project management. In 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Smith has distinguished himself in television producing and directing, satellite broadcasting, and new program development.

His background includes producing and directing live broadcast events for CNN, CBS News, the National Geographic Society, ESPN, the American Red Cross, Fox News Channel, and many others. He specializes in large-scale remote satellite broadcast events. Mr. Smith supervised master control operations at the 1994 World Cup, and managed the Argo Broadcast Center during the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. Mr. Smith currently operates Great Falls Communications, specializing in creating high-quality live and taped television programs for government, corporate, financial, association, media, and medical industry clients.

He is also a principal in Optik Communications Group, specializing in developing high-tech media applications as well as providing television production support, staffing, and engineering solutions for U.S. government clients. He is also an avid kayaker, skier, youth baseball and softball coach, and Scouting high adventure leader.
